Our Group has been actively involved in the organization of scientific meetings/symposia aiming to the Group internationalization and to multidisciplinary collaborations. We have also been particularly engaged in promoting the participation of our young researchers in scientific meetings to foster their contact with the national and international scientific community and to enable them to be aware of the most recent advances in their field of research. Some of our contributions, presented either as oral or as poster communications, have been awarded by international/national scientific organizations or by the respective conference committees.
